Thanks for the freqs. wesct. When another town needs Rescue 2, do they tone them out over the UCONN frequency? I konw when they come here for mutual aid they come onto our EMS channel.

R2 will be dispatched by UCONN dispatchers, who are initially contacted by the needing municipality.

They will also sign onto CMED and the town they're responding to. They run A LOT of radios in the rig.

Don't quote me on this -
They are contracted as Medic services for Farmington, Canton, Avon, UCONN Campus. I've heard them go to Burlington once in a great while.

Avon - They will sign on their PD freq. as AVFD doesn't run medical.
Canton - Sign on Canton's ambulance feq.
Farmington - They will sign on the Fire freq.
CMED - is CMED

Rescue2 will also run as medics/FF for working fires in Farmington.
They are also due to surrounding cities (W. Hartford/Harford) on second or third alarms.
