Maybe the new radio floats down there.

Looks like ol' Bob Gray is excited about Uniden's afternoon announcement...

Now the big question. If it is a new radio. Will NXDN come with it out of the box or will it be a $50 option like Provoice and DMR. I also wonder if PV and DMR will come standard install.

If it comes standard that will mean a higher price tag. Uniden would still have to pay for the trunking licenses. But it would be nice to finally have a fully supported NXDN scanner.

Upman my comment was about years ago when Uniden had the FCC not list details about a scanner that had been submitted and tested.

Oh, we still do that. Schematics, block diagrams, and other material that is proprietary and confidential is blocked permanently and sometimes the entire submission is blocked temporarily (until product release).

I'm still waiting for the x36 and the Siren App to be finished. What happen to the listed Phases of updates that was suppose to happen? :roll:
I think they stopped at V2. Wasn't there suppose to be a Uniden server for the Siren App?

V1 = main scanning functions, LAN only
V2 = addition of Analyze
V3 = addition of Full Menu capabilities for all functions
V4 = WAN capability
V5 = still a secret

I'm still waiting for this^:roll:
