The latest Uniden UHF CB radios features this:

"The UH45 series introduces a new Kid-Zone feature to UHF communication – allowing parents to block out unwanted conversations so kids can use the UHF radio with family and friends."

Has anybody seen this and how does it work? Is it another frequency in the UHF CB band or just adding a CTCSS tone?

Well that is a bit pointless, sure it will stop kids hearing other people but does nothing to stop other people hearing what your kids say...

Well it’s aimed at Not letting your kids hear foul language .
As you know , legislation in Australia prevent any type of encryption on CB frequencies
