We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

heard what sounded like radio techs discussing a work schedule. not sure what this system is or who will be using it, but it peels my cap to think that ProVoice can be used on a 400Mhz bandsplit.

i wonder if this is the next thing for commercial radio systems?

if anyone can run trunker on it, thanks in advance.

yeah, you gotta love 'em.

my concern was MA/COM upselling Provoice as "security" to sensitive commercial users, i guess as a way to compete with Nextel or even the local LTR/Net/Multi/Passport option.

so my next question is: will Toyota implement ESK?

this could answer why the City of San Antonio was so hell bent on implementing ESK all these years.
