UHF PL-259 Hood Connection

I have tried to figure out how to install them with a faceplate style PL-259, but nothing on the internet. They are UHF hoods by amphenol. Just curious.

They go on the backside of an SO239 chassis mount female connector.

I understand that. The question is how do you solder the center? There no room to solder Just looking for installation pictures or instructions.

We used those on our VHF/UHF radios at Harris RF years ago. Typically the coax from the PA to the SO-239 did not have an outer insulation. So strip the braid and inner insulation, slip the shield over the braid, solder the center conductor to the center pin of the SO-239, slide the shield into place, solder the braid to the shell, and bolt the whole thing to the chassis.
