ProScan: UID Question - BCD996P2

I've been a PROSCAN user for many years, I've been a TRS listener for about a minute.

My receiver is a BCD996P2 firmware: 1.06.00

How do you program the UID info into the scanner, so that the UID displays on the scanner's screen? I have it working on Proscan so that it displays on the log on my computer monitor, but I'm under the impression that there is a method for having them display directly on the screen.

Using Proscan 10.0

Program each UID as a talkgroup preceded by i. Assign the alpha tag to that talkgroup.

Should the UID Logging work for P25 conventional channels? It's globally enabled, but UIDs doesn't appear on display and ProScan UID log is always empty.
