Greetings:

My favorite channel, the UINTAH COUNTY SHERIFF, VERNAL AND NAPLES POLICE, has been off line for several days.

I can still hear it on my scanner, but not on the computer.

So, I've switched to monitoring neighboring DUCHESNE COUNTY EMS.

But, I really wish that UINTAH COUNTY SHERIFF, VERNAL AND NAPLES POLICE would come back on line.

The most frustrating part is not knowing why it's off line, or if it will ever return.

Thank you.

Some common questions we always seem to get regarding the RR Live Audio are: Why is this feed “offline”?,
How do I get a feed added for my location?, and What happened to this feed?

Here is a breakdown of how the feeds on Radioreference operate.

All feeds on RadioReference are provided by volunteers with physical
scanners. RadioReference has little control over the availability or
stability of the feeds, we just provide the hosting platform.

In order for a feed to be added to RadioReference for your location, a
volunteer with a physical scanner from your area has to step up and agree
to provide a feed; RadioReference cannot just add feeds on request.

When a feed is “Offline” there could be many reasons for this.
The majority of the time the provider is having technical difficulties with his/her feed.
When a feed goes offline, the volunteer that provides it is notified automatically
by e-mail letting them know (for that reason, you cannot submit problem reports for feeds that are “Offline”).
If a feed remains “Offline” for at least 3 weeks it will automatically be "Deleted" by the system, once this happens it will no longer be listed in the directory.
