Hello,
I read online that if you have an FRN but you use your SSN on your testing paperwork ( I forgot to bring my dang FRN) that it will mess up the application process. I tested on 7-7-12 and do not have a callsign yet. Not a huge deal since I know it can take up to 14 days or whatnot, but I got a little worried after reading the above.
Thanks,
Jason

I read the same as you did, but here is something I know for fact that occurred just this last field day weekend.

1. The guy testing with me had his FRN, but forgot to bring his number and used his SSN instead. (I had my FRN and used it.)
2. We both received our license in the ULS database on the same day. (July 5th)
3. It took 10 calendar days for our license/call sign, etc to show up in the database. (Maybe more, or less, there was a holiday in there for me.)

I'll bet your license shows up in the database by the 19th. Your paper license arrives later. In fact, I had already passed the General exam before the Technician license arrived. I'll wager my vanity is approved and in the database before my General license shows up in the mail.

Summary: Don't worry about it. You should be good to go in a few more days.

Oh yeah, welcome and all that. I'm new myself, but as a General I'll give you the obligatory welcome and then say get your General, as it opens up so many more frequencies/countries to you. (Seriously though, welcome and congratulations.)
