"Unable to connect to socket"

Im trying to get my feed going, but I keep getting this message in the Oddcast V3 encoder window. It is trying to reconnect every 30 seconds but I've had no luck for almost 45 minutes. Is this nornmal?

I would change over to ScannerCast. That should solve your problem. It worked for me.

I switched to Scanner Cast also. I used the RR auto program and within a min i was streaming.

Also make sure your firewall is not blocking the program you choose.
