I have a small issue .. and cannot understand this one.
I have my HP1E .. and want to monitor a single frequency.
I go to Advanced Menu / Quick Frequency Entry .. enter in a frequency (458.5375 for example) , and press accept and nothing happens.
It is like the Accept button is not enabled. I am thinking that because it is just being asked to go to Frequency entered .. that is all it should do. Period .. pretty simple.
I am used to like the GRE PSR500 tune feature where it just goes to a frequency entered .. and I expect the Uniden to do the same. Am I wrong here ?
I am going to reprogram it .. but this is kind of annoying.
EDIT ... I reprogrammed it from Sentinel and no difference.
All that happens .. is the accept area turns grey when it is pressed. The radio does not tune anything.
Because it is just wanting to listen to one frequency .. as I understand it, it should just tune to that frequency .. with no regard to what may be on that frequency ? I am thinking that service types .. and avoids and all that stuff should not reflect the ability to monitor one frequency.
If it does not allow me to do that .. then this function is pretty useless.
