I understand that the company is no longer in service, after the owner's passing...but is there anyone out there who knows where I can tap into the circuit board on this unit to find unamplified audio to feed into a PA system?

I'm couple of hours into specific chip lookups, based on what I see inside, but I'm not having any luck.

Still out there .........?

Yes, Communistar shut up shop in the mi-1990's

There are 3 or 4 points you could tap audio from - but which one is best suited is going to be determined by which input you choose to drive the PA through, so, how are you intending to drive the PA?

- through a line input balanced or unbalanced (anyhow, line level should be around 4dB/1.5v)?
- or, through a mic input (and would that be a 600Ohm mic input, or some other impedance)?
