Understanding 380Mil trunked system

Just a quick question to you all who listen to the 380 system...

I'm very new to APCO 25.. I just got my very first APCO 25 scanner... a 396 here within the last week.. so I am very rough on programming and so forth...

How do you program it in? Just program it in as a Motorol P25 system?

Yes. Program the CCh and Alternates.

I'm having a problem with the dc area have all the cch and the alter in and still get nothing i even work in dc not sure what i did wrong on this on

installed using the file from RR with the arc396 pro not sure why it wouldnt work

but another disp here said he had same problem and had to take his 796D to get DC programed ....
