I am still a little confused. when i am reading from the paper.

con+ (115) is that the system ID#(sometime this box has both hex# or dec# )
009 is that the site, and I understand the rest. Could you please do a P25 for the frequecny file. Thanks

Here is the RRDB entry that goes with the Con+ example. Yes to site 009, DEC 115 for the system ID.

The P25 trunked systems around me don't require an entry in the frequency file. When you sit on a control channel it builds the data automatically into the P25data file.

I have a NXDN site setup which looks similar to what I shared, but nothing setup for DMR as all the users local to me are single freq sites.

Here is an example of my frequency file entry for 3 trunked sites of a TIII system --

TIII, 1, 1.2, 103, 217.63125, 0.0, 0 ;Rappahannock Electric Cooperative
TIII, 1, 1.2, 115, 217.70625, 0.0, 0 ;Rappahannock Electric Cooperative
TIII, 1, 1.2, 139, 217.85625, 0.0, 0 ;Rappahannock Electric Cooperative
TIII, 1, 2.4, 87, 217.53125, 0.0, 0 ;Rappahannock Electric Cooperative
TIII, 1, 2.4, 99, 217.60625, 0.0, 0 ;Rappahannock Electric Cooperative
TIII, 1, 2.4, 117, 217.71875, 0.0, 0 ;Rappahannock Electric Cooperative
TIII, 1, 3.1, 85, 217.51875, 0.0, 0 ;Rappahannock Electric Cooperative
TIII, 1, 3.1, 101, 217.61875, 0.0, 0 ;Rappahannock Electric Cooperative

Here is what I have for a NEXEDGE site. (NXDN48, 2 voice channels)
It works but had to calculate frequencies from channel numbers.
The format is at the top in comments delimiter. Not really hard at all, the comma separates fields.
Remember the control channel is set up in FMP24-CC bat file.( you can rename it)

NEXEDGE48, 386, 15, 137, 451.700, 451.700, 0
NEXEDGE48, 386, 15, 357, 454.450, 454.450, 0
Hard part for me was getting frequencies, I made an equation to solve this(exclusive to this site)
Not that it matters, this is only 2 channels.

I like to thank everyone who help me. I think i understand the frequency ,group, site, files.(etc). I just think i need to understand how the monitoring and the listening monitoring works , with two sdr dongle. I have the control frequency on the monitoring window, but the other window stay in idle. I do not know if I should opening something up . I guess I just have to continue to work with it. So many hours trying, but it will be worth it if i can getting it going, This hobby is awesome!

I do have the monitoring window up and running . Displaying what it should be showing. I have the fmp24 vac .bat file the frequency is set to 999.999999. The window opening but just stay idle. I try different control channels(in the monitoring window) , still in idle. I am always reading the noted text, learn a few things from there. My question is there any thing else I should be going to the listening window, (vac) .

The fmp24 window is supposed to stay on idle until voice traffic is detected. For non P25 trunking systems, you need to have the .frequencies file programmed which tells fmp24 where to tune

I just went through that with a NEXEDGE48 system. Had to find two voice channel frequencies then edit the DSDplus.frequencies file. here is what I came up with that works:
;
; protocols:
;
; D-Star
; IDAS
; NEXEDGE48
; NEXEDGE96
; dPMR
; DMR
; Cap+
; Con+
; TIII
; P25
; ProVoice

NEXEDGE48, 386, 15, 137, 451.700, 451.700, 0
NEXEDGE48, 386, 15, 357, 454.450, 454.450, 0

Note lines starting with ';' are comments.
The control channel frequency you define in FMP24-CC.bat
Double click this starts the whole thing.

Once you get everything else working, building the Siteloader file can make it easy to switch systems without having to edit or create a bunch of batch files.
