Understanding quick keys with the BC246T

My BC246T is on back order so in the mean time I thought I would try to figure out how to setup my systems and groups by reading the pdf manual.

And, how to assign the quick keys.

Ok, if I want to scan 4 PS systems (quick key 1) and I want to scan just EMS groups in all of the systems (quick key 2), is this possible? (I think that's what it says on pg. 42). It looks like you have to set the group quick keys for each system. Am I on the right track?

To enable/disable all the systems assigned to QK1, you would press 1 one time.

To enable/disable Group QK2 for each of those 4 systems, you need to press F, ensure you are the system you want to affect (rotate scroll if you aren't), press 2 one time, then release F. Repeat for each of the 4 systems.
