Greetings, all.

I just picked up a Pro-96 today and I've read the entire manual now. It doesn't really do a good job of explaining what I'm seeing on the display, so I wondered if anyone had written a better manual regarding that.

For example, what is that "D" in the top row? What else am I seeing in the top row? The lightning bolt is pretty obvious - "signal is received" - but the rest of it is unclear.

I've searched the forum, the wiki, and Google, and I have come up empty-handed.

Thanks.

You're welcome! But I can't take credit for it's creation. It was posted here on RR some time ago, and I saved it. You can too. When you click on my link, and open it, there will be a save option near the upper left corner of the window. It has an icon that looks like a blue floppy disk.

Who ever made it did a super job!

Well, it is most excellent, but (not meaning to sound like I'm complaining), I'm seeing other things in the display that aren't on that PDF. Specifically a lower-case z on the left side. I'm guessing this has to do with the "zero" thing, but I'm not sure.

Small case "z" is zeromatic tuneing (to the nearist acticive frequency) off. Uppercase "Z" is on.

D. Starr, well I'm not surprised a bit by that news. The cat knows his stuff and the 96 inside and out. I mean, he did write the Win96..
