What other NJ trunked radio systems can I monitor with a Uniden BC235XLT? I live in Dunellen and just listen to State Police.

Your scanner is capable of monitoring all of the trunked radio systems listed there except these:
Arthur Breese - LTR System
Edison - P25 Digital System
Middlesex County - EDACS System
South Brunswick - EDACS System

You need to remember that you need to be within receiving range of the control channels for them in order to receive them.

Trunk Frequencies

Hi,

Will the 235XLT trunk systems other than 800MHz? I tried 900MHz systems and I believe it didn't work. What about 500Mhz?

It should trunk track Motorola Type 2 500 and 900 MHz systems. A 900 MHz system gets programmed the same way a Type 2 800 MHz system gets programmed; just the frequencies and talk groups. With a Type 2 500 MHz system you have to enter the base frequency, offset channel and step size.

Specs say Motorola 800 so I guess that means only systems in the 800 MHz range. Want to get either a Pro-96 or PSR-500.

I just checked on the on line manual and you're correct; only 800 MHz trunk systems.
