Uniden 350a antenna Issue

I have a uniden 350a that doesn't want to work to well in the house using the stock antenna. If I get it just perfect near a window it will work but still not as clear as it is out the house.Is there any kind of antenna that will clear this up in the house? I have all kinds of computer's and such running and I think that is some of the issue. My ratshack pro 2018 is about the same way but I found a good spot for it and it picks up ok inside.

There are other options in antennas. You could even try an BNC elbow adapter with an aftermarket portable antenna for better results. Some examples can be found at your local RadioShack.
