Ugh.

What is the fascination with cell phones among newbies? There's so many OTHER things to listen to!

What about railroads, aircraft, taxi cabs, news helo's...the list is endless of things you can monitor (legally too!) Why cell phones?

"Honey, did you say Kotex or Tampax?" Gee. How exciting. I'd rather listen to paint drying.

I had one of the old scanners back in the old days when there was lots to monitor on the cell bands. It was fun for about a week, then it just became boring. Too much blabbering about nothing important. These days 90% of the cell traffic is encrypted digital anyhow. Why tear open a perfectly good scanner for that?

Still there are those who like that sort of thing I guess. Try http://www.mods.dk - they don't have any cell mods for a 350, but they list other models that can be modded. Make a list and hit up the pawn shops nearby - you're bound to find one you can tinker with for cheap.
