Will the 396T do Provoice?? I do not have much exspirence with Provoice. I trying to program for a guy that is moving to Albuquerque NM. Thanks Mark

No. There are no scanners currently made that will receive ProVoice. You can program talkgroups that are capable of ProVoice in a 396 but it will ignore transmissions unless they are in analog mode.
Thanks Tom would you be so kind as to look at the Albuquerque ifo in the database and make sure i am looking at it correctly. I only have knowledge of the State of Colorado 800 system. don't know to much about the other systems. Thanks Mark

It looks like they have an EDACS system with analog, digital, digital encrypted, and mixed-mode talkgroups. The talkgroups listed are labled A, D, E, or M in the Mode column.
You will only be able to hear analog transmissions. Analog transmission probably only occur on the talkgroups labled A or M but I don't know anything about that system or if the DB info is accurate.
I can answer general questions about EDACS and ProVoice because we have the same type system here but anything specific to that area should be asked in the NM forum.
