Uniden 396xt digi update with TVRCS

What settings are you finding that work with the new Uniden 396xt digi update and the simulcast
cells on the TVRCS? Initially the update made my reception much worse with the Chattanooga simulcast cell. But I have found it to settle in better with settings at 8 and 50. The default was 11 and 50 but 11 gave the unit too wide of a swing to properly decode. Capping the upper value at 8 seems to make it lock in to good values. Curious about any 996xt's with the update too.
So far on the NW Georgia simulcast cell the 8 and 50 combo works well too.
Will continue testing values...

The manual control of the decode setting was removed from the software when they introduced the XT version of the 396.
My 'T' versions setting has been 8 and has always given great results at that setting.
Just FYI, I am glad they put manual control back into the XT firmware. That was the one reason I didn't upgrade to it.
