also I would have to say I'm not the only one, I have read lots of reviews lately on this scanner and other people complaining of same things I am, if your happy hooking a GPS to it and barely catching things that are going on because of the p25 phase 2 reception problems while scanning, and the lack of channel delay when it does pick up something. I'm happy for you, that just don't cut it for me, it's like trying to watch tv with your channel button stuck in your remote and occasionally satellite company shutting off channels at same time

True - there are lots of people who don't know how to use items they own.

I use GPS with the x36 and it scans as fast as any other scanner I've ever owned with the singular exception of a BC245XLT I overclocked to scan an estimated 1000 channels per second (but I lost trunking capability when I did that).

Well after extensive tweaking got it to be about 98% acceptable, in order to get pittsylvania county to pick up,(and by scanning also) I had to separate North and South simulcast then change to fm off of narrow in defaut , then gained a few bars of signal (I think)for whatever reason by putting copper tape over the inside of my battery door even though it's supposed to just shield noise,maybe it just locks data better I don't know, I do know with door off I can never get anything at my house in Lynchburg 30 miles away and on I get a LNK with 2 bars and activity, now it scans and picks up the phase 2 without putting squelch on 0 and holding and using another scanner for the rest,, to solve my global delay need I thank butel for their bulk edit feature, now I can use my GPS and have delay on the channel it finds, I,was not going to put what I did to fix this up here but just because there is a lot of people on radio reference that are quick to cut you down on Questions and try to make it look like your an idiot, I may be able to help someone that really needs it with out all the bs I had to go through, thanks to the couple of guys that did offer suggestions though through PMs you guys know who you are
