Hello,

I reside in New Palestine, Indiana, and currently am running a Uniden BCD325P2 with a Remtronix 800mhz antenna, to listen to Hancock Law Enforcement and Fire. It works well under the D52, Greenfield, and Wilkinson Sites. I ran Shelby county with it but I would always have trouble with my scanner picking it up NFM and not keeping it 800, so took it off and just listen to Hancock county. My question is this scanner Ive had it for almost 4 years now and the battery life is not the greatest so I am thinking of going to the Uniden 436HP for more convenient programing, with the zip code feature, and did not know if anyone in the central Indiana is running this scanner and how well it works on the new system! Any advice help!

The 436 does better on the simulcasts in Boone, Hendricks, Shelby Counties. Maybe not as good as say an SDS100/200 might but so far my 436 rocks on them. Not to mention rocking out the IDPS systems.
