Can anyone tell me how the Record plug on the 796D works?? does the plug shunt to ground when a signal is recived?? I noticed it is a stero plug is one side for audio?? the manual is not helpful, Iam looking to wire it up to a Motorola PacRt and want to used the Record out to key the PacRt.
