Does anyone have a solution for the following. I would like to record my 780 while at work.

I understand that any vox type software will work properly, but is there any software that has the ability to stamp the audio or create a corresponding log that has the freq information to correspond?

Thanks

Yocuz, I would also look at ProScan. It supports the 780, records, and also has a client for remoting the scanner. Unlike most of the older software that supports this scanner, you can import data from the RadioReference database with a premium subscription. A bonus is that if you ever want to go digital (and there are some areas in southern NJ that are, as is the state of Delaware system), the software supports the Uniden digitals as well.

These packages and more are listed in our wiki for the 780. The link for the subscription page is after that.

Interestingly the Trunkstar Pro page doesn't mention Vista compatibility, which might be an issue. Does it work under that OS as well as 2000 and XP? 73 Mike

I'm using it on vista. I do have problems with vista and usb ports from time to time, but have not had any problems with trunkstar pro. It seems on my machine that vista doesn't like more than three radios connected at the same time or it will shut down some of the usb ports. I also had it running on my old machine running xp.
