Uniden BC 700A

I have a Uniden BC 700A on the front it reads as 800mhz, does it scan 800mhz channels and if so is there anywhere that could program the scanner for me. I cant get it to accept any channels- Thanks

I used to have that scanner. Yes, it does scan the 800 (and 900) MHz range.

It is functionally identical to the BC-350. Here is the manual for the BC-350; look on p.14 for how to program frequencies.

I've had my Uniden Bearcat 700A for about 12 years. Even shortly after getting it, the 700A would only pick up very few cordless phone signals. As far as I know and can remember cordless phones were all I ever received in the 800 to 900 Mhz range. There are very few of those phones still in service in my area.
