I bought my first scanner, a Uniden BC246T. I also purchased a Uniden USB-1 Scanner Radio PC Interface Cable. How can I add frequencies for Carrollton, TX 75010 (Denton County). What all things can I listen from Carrollton TX 75010. What software should I use. Does the USB cable/scanner need any driver? Thank you.

One caution here.
Carrollton is in the process of upgrading their system to a P25 Phase II, probably by either the end of this year or first half of 2015.
Also, Denton County has recently announced plans to upgrade to digital, though that conversion will likely be farther off.
While the 246t will work on the current systems, it will not be compatible with the planned digital conversions.
