I have a uniden bc340crs scanner. But in not able to pick up my local police frequency is there a reason why?

I'm located in Allen county in ohio. I'm trying to listen to allen county public safety but it does nothing

because that radio does not do digital or the 700 band.

I recommend the 325P2 (Handheld) or 996P2 (Base) from Uniden.

and there is some more stuff to listen to.
