Uniden BC345CRS or Pro 405

Which scanner do you think is better, the BC345CRS or pro 405?

I would go with the BC345CRS.It will pick up more than the 405. Like Milatary air. I`v been looking for a good base scanner with a large read out and the BC345CRs has a nice large display.

After looking up on how much the BC345CRS can do,I ordered one from Amazon(84.98).I watched all the videos on youtube and look forword to getting one.Where I live (right in the center of Wisconsin) I can get a way with out having a digital scanner.or I don`t need any scanner that gets the 800s,There is nothing going on up in the 800s.

Hands down the Uniden for it's triple-conversion.

The 405 is a dual-conversion receiver, and like a throwback to the 1980's, you get to enjoy image reception problems in high-signal areas about 21.4 mhz up or down from the real frequency.
