Uniden BC355N buttons stopped working

My uniden BC355N front buttons will not work when pressed neither short press or holding them down, it will not do the factory rest. The volume and squelch work just fine and it will receive audio

This happened to me a few years ago with my BC355N. The display was intermittent and some buttons did not work. It was still under warranty, so I sent it in to Uniden and they replaced the ribbon cable(s) which connected the display and buttons to the board. It continued to work great for a few years after that until I sold the truck and left the scanner installed.

had same issue with my bct15...opened up and reset the ribbon ...fixed
