Hey guys/gals
Anyone have first-hand knowledge of the above-mentioned scanner? As kind of a newb to scanning, I'm looking for something that doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles and makes coffee, just need something that's fairly easy to program, along with something that performs well, yet still will allow me to hear mainly
local frequencies of interest.
Any info is always appreciated!!

What and where are you trying to monitor? May need more than a conventional, analog scanner:) But, it is a good basic scanner.

If all you need is an analog scanner, the bc75xlt is a newer version of the bc72xlt. It has a better display and might be easier for you to use.
