Uniden BC796D Software??

I just purchased a Uniden BC796D, if I get the Pro250 software will it allow me to enter alpha tags by using my computer keyboard? It is a real pain to use the turn knob to scroll the alphabet, and the supllied Uniden software does not allow for keyboard input.

What is the best all-around software for the Uniden BC796D??

Get the Pro250.
It is much easier use than hand programming and much better, in my opinion than the Uniden.

You can order the Arc software and get a CD or online.

What is PRO250?? You mean ARC250? Or is there yet another 796 package out there? 73s Mike

You are right, it is the AOR 250, they have basic and pro.

Meant Arc 250. I survive with basic.
