Hello all,
I had posted this in the Uniden forum, but I then figured this would be the best location. Using my Uniden BC80XLT, will I be able to listen to the RCMP in and around Regina?
Thanks a lot.

Short answer: No

Long answer: That scanner is neither digital or a trunker which is needed for a P25 Trunking System.

You may get an occasional tidbit if they use analog Vehicle Repeaters and are close to you, or if they have beat repeaters you may get a tiny bit of local comms. I saw nothing in the database that indicates that they have either.

Unless some of the simplex freqs are still in use.

Will this scanner work?

Hello,
I'm wondering if this scanner would work to pick up RCMP freq's in and around Regina.
If so, I will go ahead and purchase it, but if not, I'll leave it alone.
Thanks for all the help.
