My uniden BC92XLT started to not recognize being plugged in. Therefore not charging the batteries. I have been using an external battery charger and just rotating them out running the scanner solely off battery.
Well I finally opened it up and the DC input wiggles around so it appears the solder joints have gone bad. When I resolder, can I just apply the soldering gun to those joints or do I need to remove the previous solder and apply all new?
