Good afternoon,
bare with me as i do my best to explain my issue, this evening i was out filming and had to put my scanner (bcd346xt) in my pocket due to rain. upon getting back to my car no matter what channel i was set to or group or the squelch level i was receiving nothing but static. Once i got home i turn the radio back on hoping it was just the location but nothing. i changed a few of the group settings and was able to stop the static but now i receive no transmissions, i have a second scanner to verify. The only way i am able to hear anything is if the squelch is set to 1 than i hear the transmission than it goes to complete static, on squelch 2, its silence. any suggestions on how to fix my problem would be greatly appreciated! happy 4th.
