I have a Uniden BCD536 HP with the DMR and NXDN upgrades installed. I am trying to listen to a neighboring county highway department that used a VHF NXDN system. I have tried to search with out any luck on audio coming through. Today on two different RAN numbers is receive "NX4 IDS". What does the IDS stand for. I have checked manuals and on line but the IDS question is not answered. Thank you.

That is what I was leaning toward. I am trying to figure out how to program it so the audio passes. I am receiving the NX$ IDS with RAN 4, RAN 5 and RAN 17 but no audio is passing. The on frequency NXDN does not give a option for the IDS designator. The conventional mode for IDAS gives you a option of 0 or 1. The NXDN is the hardest mode for me to get my head around. I have been programming Public Safety radios for over twenty five years and this pone has me totally stumped. Thanks for your suggestions.
