Okay, so, no help from Uniden Customer Support, in the end last week I decided to just order a new dongle. It arrived today. Plugged it in, and what do you know, the scanner started doing an update (would do nothing when I plugged in the old dongle). Long story short, Siren works on the IPad with this new Dongle. It does drop occasionally. Not too thrilled that Uniden just ignored my messages....
My next question is, how many IPads can be connected with Siren to listen to the scanner at once? We are finding we hear it on one, try and connect another one and the signal drops from the first one. Sometimes if we just have one connected it drops the signal to it too. Thanks for all your replies, unfortunately, I guess we ended up with a Dongle that never worked to begin with.
