Scanning a mix of conventional and trunked system. I have a conventional system in assigned to SQK 5 - in it are 2 GQK. When I turn all other systems off and leave 5 on, it shows "Nothing to scan". I have triple checked that nothing is on lock out. I am at a loss. Any ideas?

I have used "/" in system names using ARC-XT for a BCD996P2 and never had a problem. The underscore character is acceptable in filenames.

It must be a Proscan issue because Freescan allows you to use / with no issue.
Would you send me a Bug Report. Attach your database file if you can. Describe the steps you're using so I can try to reproduce the bug.
I'll look at it early next week.

Bug Reporting
If you discover a bug, send an email to support@proscan.org. The advantage of email is so I can ask questions and send you production quality files with additional testing to help fix the bug. The person reporting the bug will get the fix sooner than waiting for the next release. Put "bug" in the Subject line.

Bug Reports - Advise on the following:
  • Product (ProScan, Free Client, or RadioFeed):
  • Version:
  • Scanner type:
  • Scanner firmware version (if applicable):
  • OS type:
  • Options pertaining to the bug:
  • Describe in detail what the bug is doing or not doing:

How are you determining that ProScan does'nt like the "/" in a system name?

I'm not seeing the relationship between the system name and turning on or off SQKs.

I didn't get a Bug Report yet so it's impossible to determine where the problem is without sending test files. I do know that in ProScan, the "/" character and all special characters that the scanner accepts can be inputted and uploaded/downloaded with the "/" character in the names. ProScan doesn't determine a specific action based on the characters in the names.

I was not the original poster of the issue. I was stating an observation due to the fact that Freescan does not duplicate the issue with the / in the System Name. I was not trying to downplay your software. Sorry if you took it that way. I have never used Proscan before.

Just saw this message. When I used / in a system name, quick keys acted like it was an empty system. When I removed it, issue was resolved. I’ll send over my database file so you can look at it.
