Good morning.


Can you program a Conventional Channels and DMR channel into the same into the same quick key. For example quick key 98 has Conventional Channels on it and I would also like to add a DMR system to that Conventional Channels bank 98.

Yes.

Each system can have its own quick key - or the same one others have.

There's no restrictions on this.

thank you very much makes it a little better knowing this so i would not need the different quick keys for same system just because one is conventinal and one is DMR. Thank you

Just to add to that correct answer, you can add conventional (non-trunked) DMR frequencies or P25 frequencies to a conventional system made up of analog channels. A PD I monitor in a conventional analog bank just went from a VHF analog channel to a UHF DMR channel. All I had to do on the P25P2 was to just use the edit channel feature to enter the new frequency as digital and add the color code.
