Uniden BCD996T TRUNKTRACKER IV Help

Hi,
I own a Uniden BCD996T TRUNKTRACKER IV, & I want to buy a new halfway descent antenna that's not going to cost an arm & a leg because I'm on a fixed income. I've been researching some various antennas but I'm pretty new to all this so I don't REALLY know what to get that will be good. ANY help at ALL would and will be GREATLY APPRECIATED!

Please tell us whether you are looking for an outdoor antenna or indoor and what bands/frequencies you are interested in. Also, information on your distance from transmitter sites would be helpful. What is your budget? What kind of antenna are your using now?

Not sure tge type of antenna Im2 using now but it's just some cheap one I got from a friend for free...think it was for a car tho. I'd like an Outdoor Antenna for better reception. I live in Hartwell GA inside city limits so Im not too far from the transmitters....budget isn't too great I could probably afford to spend around 100-150 on a COMPLETE Set-up.
