Hello, could someone please help a new person to this hobby? i bought the Uniden BCD996T scanner ive got the ARC99CPRO software if someone could just point me in the right direction please thanks

The 996 uses an architecture that has no banks - instead you create 'virtual banks' from a pool of available memory. This article will introduce you to some of the ways you can get started. In addition at the bottom are the links for the 'Easier to Read' manual. Download - and bookmark, in case the site is updated - the 996 page.

Be specific as you can about what you are trying to hear. Since you are using the ARC software, you can also import the 996 Uniden Advanced System Director (UASD) files as well as ARC396 files (if memory serves) as a data source. The more specifc you are in your interests, the more accurate the responses will be

You have ARC996 and are a premium subscriber here, so you can use ARC's RR import feature. It's covered in section 7.3 of the manual (in my old copy, anyway).
