Uniden BCD996XT Cutting off conversations

Hi all Just wanted to know if this is the scanner or a setting I have wrong on my BCD996XT The scanner finds the channel no problem and the conversation starts then it cuts it off while the person is still talking a few mili seconds later it will come back on to listen to the conversation again but againcuts it off

What am I doing wrong

Sounds like you have a priority scan or weather check taking place, check your settings.

Please help

You more than likely have either Close Call, Priority or Weather Priority enabled.

The interval will help determine which one is the culprit.

Thanks looks like the Weather Priority was on all good since I turned it off
