Now, Now mrkelso. You know that according to another thread Uniden radios are of poor design and are faulty and can't handle programming.
Only GRE radios work apparently.
And of course you must be a paid Uniden mark who will only
say good things about that horrible, horrible company.
For shame sir, for shame.

In 1978, my BC210 was the best scanner I ever owned.
In 1982, my Pro 2004 was the best scanner I ever owned.
In 1985, my BC300 was the best scanner I ever owned.
In 1988, my BC895XT was the best scanner I ever owned.
In 2000, my BC780XT was the best scanner I ever owned.
In 2006, my Pro96 was the best scanner I ever owned.
In 2007, my BC996T was the best scanner I ever owned.
In 2009, my BC396XT was the best scanner I ever owned.
I wonder what will be my next best scanner I ever owned?

I have the 396XT, PSR-500 and BCT15X and they are all equally great. I like features of each and would be hard pressed to say one is "better" than the other. Of course, I would like to upgrade the 15X to a 996XT at some point.

I have the RadioShack Pro-160 it's a great machine with good ears, it does tend to get overloaded from paging units at the Hospital nearby.

Some where out there..
OK.. Answer me this if you would. How many different antennas do you have? Any connected to more than one radio? If so, what did you use to split it? I figured that if you were so serious about your scanners AND you split one antenna into more than two radios you would do it right.. Please Share!

Thanks.. :)

I have 2 spiders and 2 discones and 2 austins up in the attic. I have none split right now. I plan on splitting one discone to feed 4 scanners. I am still researching splitters.
I started another thread about splitters.

I will say uniden rocks. Never had a problem with any, except my 996XT when its cold.
I had the chance to use a 396XT and a pro106 at the same time on a p25 simulcast trunking system. The 396XT kicked the 106's butt! The 106's audio sucks and it dropped out a lot more than the 396XT. I don't see how people say those pieces of crap are better.
