Quick Question and sorry if this has been asked already.I just bought a Uniden Bcd 996xt will I be abel to pick up digtal frq with this? a lot of departments in the Rhode Island area are going digtal. Thank you for your patience in this question.

Yes, the 996 will work.

Yes the 996XT will pick up the RI systems, however some of the departments are using encryption, and are unable to be be received.
