Hello,

I was wondering if anyone can tell me if the following is possible? I live out in the contry and even though I get the signals they don't register with CloseCall. I'm wanting to put the scanner in my car and run it as a mobile unit as I'm driving around and doing erands in town and have the scanner log the hits. My question is... Will the scanner retain the CloseCall hits log from the time it's unplugged in the car till I get inside to plug it back in? Or will it dump the memory as soon as it loses power? Thanks for your time and help.

took it out for a little bit tonight and as DaveIN said, it has to be in Close Call auto store for it to save the hits otherwise it just alerts you to them. Worked perfect. still had everything when I got home and plugged it into the comp. discovered some junk freqs but aquired two that I didn't have just in 15 minutes of passing through town. So A++! Thanks for all the help!
