I've purchased a Uniden HP2 and the speaker is 'ok' but I'm looking for an external speaker that will produce a stronger and louder volume when I'm using it as a mobile scanner in my vehicle.
I've done some research on the Uniden Bearcat BC20 External Speaker and see that it has a 20 watt external accessory speaker which should accomplish what I'm looking for.
Has anyone used the Uniden Bearcat BC20 with an HP2, or any other scanner, in a vehicle?
If so, what results have you found as far as increasing the volume of, and improving the clarity of, transmissions making it easier to understand what is being transmitted?
