Can i pick up broadcast for city of lewisville texas pd broadcast in denton county on my bc370crs scanner.any help will be appreciated.

First look at Radio Reference Database as I think that City in Denton County is now on a Digital Trunked System.

Then research your scanner and see if it is Digital and Trunking compatabile?

If the scanner is-not Digital-Trunking capable you will not hear anything on that system.

Looking at the database both Denton City and Denton County are Analog Motorola-II Smartnet. However both are Trunked radio systems. However, both will at some point go digital, so folks say.

The BC370CRS is an analog Conventional scanner only, it is not capable of tracking a trunked radio system.

You should be considering a BCD396XT, BCD996XT, Home Patrol-1 or BCDx36HP for Digital Trunking or BCT15X or BC346XT for analog trunking or the Whistler WS series when it launches later this spring.
