uniden dmr upgrade

Hello,

Maybe UPman can assist, I just purchased my first bcd536hp on 1/14/17. I just purchased my dmr upgrade key on 1/14/17 as well. I have the key ready to input into the scanner, however, I am unable to access the upgrade section of the settings. I am running f/w version 1.09.02 on the scanner, and I press MENU>SETTINGS-but i have no option to input any keys or upgrade a thing.

any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

You need to update the firmware. Install Sentinel (if you haven't already), connect the scanner, select "Update" from the menu on Sentinel, then select "Update Firmware". Once that is done, you should be able to find the Upgrade section in the menu on the scanner.

The latest firmware is 1.11.20.

Update Sentinel to the most recent version.

Then connect the scanner to your computer and use the Sentinel Update menu to update the scanner firmware.

Then you will be able to see the menus in the scanner.
