Uniden DMR Upgrade

Has anyone in NZ used the DMR upgrade process from Scanner Master.
I looks simple enough to do, but at US $75 I would feel happier if someone else had success with it.

Upgrade for DMR is $60 direct from Uniden. Upgrade process is very simple... purchase the digital keys, and enter them into the scanner through the on-screen menu system. The whole process only takes a few minutes.

Now that you mention it, I do remember that restriction from Uniden, perhaps the OP knows someone stateside that could make the purchase and email him the keys.

I contacted Uniden but they are not interested in radios bought out the US.

Scanner Master has consistently good reviews because they're consistently good. If Uniden doesn't want to help you, give Scanner Master a call. Oops, you're down under so I'd make it an email.

I had the same problem with Uniden U.S. i.e. the system they use doesn't accept foreign credit or debit cards. It used to accept the latter if you fudged the address, but not when I tried about 12 months ago.

So I got the upgrade via Scanner Master, who were very quick and great to deal with.

Yes, about 6 months after purchasing the SDS200 I used their online ordering option of the DMR & NXDN upgrades. They emailed me the unlock codes overnight.

It's no different then the scanner. Choose MotoTRBO as the system type. If you know the color codes, put those in where the site frequencies are.
