I am trying to record the audio with Butel ARC-XT Pro when there is activity during Uniden Fire Tone Out Standby, but the recordings seem hit and miss. Ironically, when I do this for regular scanning or Fire Tone Out Search, it seems to record just fine. Does anybody have any thoughts on what the problem could be?

Thank you very much for the reply. I think the work around for me will be to use BOTH the BCD396XT AND the BCD996XT. I can run one with Fire Tone Out Search or Standby and the other on record only. Then I can listen to the recorded audio traffic later and determine who is getting toned out of what pairs.
