Uniden Freescan Questions

Okay, lets say your buddy makes a Freescan file for his/her Uniden 996P2; can I get a copy into my Freescan and can/will/do I make changes so that it will work on a 396T scanner (not P2 of course) with the same talkgroups?

the 396 will not decode the p25 phase 2 comms, all the others should decode fine
